March Meeting

March meeting Joe Snyder will speak on catching those pre-spawn bass! Membership dues will also be collected. Keep the donations for the IHSA tackle drive coming as well!

ISU Lunker Junkies Fundraising Tournament

The ISU Lunker Junkies will be holding a fundraising tournament March 24 at Spring Lake. Please click here to visit their website and download the entry form. Come on out and support a good cause!


Tuesday Tournaments

Tuesday nighters will start on April 10 at Lake Bloomington and will go through Sept 11, alternating between Lake Bloomington and Lake Evergreen.


Sunday Tournaments

The Sunday tournament schedule should be available within the next few weeks. Please note, the first 2 Sunday tournaments will be on Saturdays due to scheduling conflicts. The first tournament will be on Saturday, April 21 at Lake Coffeen, and the the second tournament will be on Saturday, April 28 at Sangchris.

A few other items to note, we will only be allowing the top 20 in to fish the classic this year, unlike top 25 in years past. The entry fees are the same with the exception of the classic. It will be $60 in total, $50 for entry and $10 for big bass.

It is up to the boaters to be sure their insurance papers are up to date. Please keep a copy in your boat. Before take off the tournament director will randomly pull boat numbers to check their insurance papers. IF YOUR INSURANCE PAPERS ARE NOT UP TO DATE, YOU AND YOUR PARTNER WILL BE UNABLE TO FISH. Please be vigilant about keeping your papers up to date. If your policy renews midyear, it is imperative you get the newest form. Please contact your insurance agent to get a certificate of insurance on the boat you are running. Any questions, please contact your tournament director.


IHSA Seminar

Youth Director Fred Myers will be holding a seminar for the IHSA competitors in April at the Wired2Fish building in Normal. This event is open to any high school fishing team.
