Lake Coffeen
On March 16, 2008 seventeen anglers fished Lake Coffeen in the Bloomington-Normal Bass Club opener. Water temp was the sixties for most of the lake and for many it was an exciting day. Air temps were a little cooler than expected but overall it was a very nice day to be fishing. Andy Wegner took first place again this year with a nice 3 fish limit weighing 10.95 pounds. His partner managed to capture big bass of the tournament with one weighing in at 4.87 pounds, nice job Tristen!
