Text Box: From inner-city roots to one of the top professional bass anglers in the world, two tour pro Dean Rojas will speak at the Bloomington-Normal Bass Clubs Annual Pro Fishing Seminar at Eastland Suites March 23 at 7:30 PM. 

Rojas holds the single highest tournament weight record at a BASS Event with over 108 lbs at the site of the 2006 Bassmasters Classic, Lake Tohopekeliga in Florida. His single day total of 5 fish weighing 45.02 lbs is also a BASS record.

Known as one of the premier site fishing specialists in the pro ranks and an expert with the frog Dean can help you put more fish in the livewell as he talks about boat position, bait selection and seasonal patterns. He will also talk about landing and keeping sponsors. 

Dean will be coming fresh off this seasons Bassmasters Classic at Toho.  You will hear first hand  what it takes to be ranked in the Top 25 of the State Farm World Rankings (24th currently) as a two tour professional. 

Some more of Dean’s credentials include back to back wins at Toho and Toledo Bend in the 2000-2001 season and qualifying for the Bassmasters Classic his first year on the Bassmaster Top 150 tour in 1999.
Dean has spent 10 years as a touring pro with career earnings of $900,000 and is currently ranked 33rd on the all time money list. Dean lives in Havasu City, Arizona and enjoys boat racing and restoring vintage Mustangs when he’s not fishing.
